Instructor Development Course

 

You like working with people, you have a great passion for Scuba Diving and would love to teach and share that passion? Then it's your time to become a PADI Scuba Instructor! At La Buga Panama we would be honored to take you on this incredible journey which will surely change your life.

 

The Instructor Development Course consists of two parts. The Assistant Instructor Course (AI) and the Open Water Scuba Instructor program (OWSI). Most people go straight to the Open Water Scuba Instructor program which includes an Instructor Examination (IE).

 

What are the requirements to become an Open Water Scuba Instructor?

 

- You need to be a certified diver for at least 6 months.

- You need to be a PADI Divemaster (if you're not, we can teach you!)

- You need at least 60 logged dives to start the course and 100 logged dives to be able to attend the IE.

- You need a medical statement from a physician signed within the last 12 months.

I would like to become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer!

 

Are you already a PADI OWSI or would you like to go straight from OWSI to Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT)? You can do this at La Buga too! Our Course Director will teach you 5 different specialties. After having certified 25 students or more, you will get the rating of PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer.
