Your adventure into the professional world of recreational diving begins with the Divemaster program. Working closely with an instructor, in this program you will expand your dive knowledge and tone your skills to the professional level. The Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities with certified divers and assist instructors with student divers.
During the Divemaster program, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as tasks that expand your ability to organize and solve problems. You put this knowledge into use through an internship or series of practical exercises.
When becoming certified as a PADI Divemaster you will be authorized to supervise both training and non-training related activities by planning, organizing and directing dives.
